We’re not sure what makes us happy.
We no longer know what we enjoy.
So what do we do? What’s our purpose?
There’s a secret I want to tell you. --- This elusive purpose that we’re trying to find… it’s not something you can look for.
We don't need to go searching for it.

I know so many of you want to find your purpose --- find what you’re meant to be doing in this world because you know you’re here for more.
I know you’re meant for more.
Life isn’t feeling fully fulfilling to you.
And I know so many of us beat ourselves up a bit over this, because we have our kids – shouldn’t being a mother be the most satisfying and fulfilling job on the planet?
But many of us feel lost in motherhood.
It’s all-consuming, and when our babies first come along, they require SO MUCH. The need to be a priority in the beginning.
So we make them a priority.
But then the whole journey of parenting is basically about our children needing us less and less.
And that stage of motherhood that was all-consuming, requires less and less time. And it leaves a bit of a void.
One day, we find ourselves with a bit of time (something we’ve wanted for SO LONG), but then we really don’t know what do to with ourselves.
We’re not sure what makes us happy.
We no longer know what we enjoy.
So what do we do? What’s our purpose?
There’s a secret I want to tell you. --- This elusive purpose that we’re trying to find… it’s not something you can look for.
It’s already inside of you.
It’s simply hidden.
Hidden beneath the beliefs that have formed up around us that we’re not worthy of greatness - of abundance, of prioritizing ourselves.
Or the belief that life is hard, it can’t be easy.
Hidden beneath the fear that keeps us playing small - what will others think? What if I fail? What if others think I’m crazy or sitting back waiting for me to fall on my face so they can say “I told you so”? I can’t be the one in the spotlight - others might laugh.
I can’t simply “follow my joy” - it’s irresponsible! I must be responsible. I must be practical.
Dreams don’t come true.
Life IS hard.
Money doesn’t grow on trees.
Work isn’t fun.
… alright, you get the idea.
Your purpose is under ALLLLL of that.
And the way to find it, is by slowly peeling back the layers and layers of beliefs and fears that have been stacked up on top, hiding your purpose from your vision.
It’s there --- under it all. It really is.
But you don’t peel back these layers by muscling your way through, by searching, or berating yourself when you feel those limiting beliefs and fears surface.
No --- you get there by examining each belief and fear, one by one, as they pop up.
You get there by FEELING EVERYTHING.
But here’s one very important piece of the puzzle. You need to feel EVERYTHING and as you do, know that it does not define you.
It does not define who you are.
Those feelings of not-good-enough. Well, they’re simply not true.
Those feelings of not feeling like you’re capable of raking in loads of cash while doing something you love… also not true.
Your concerns over what others will think --- you cannot control how other people perceive you. You cannot control what others think. Let them think what they want. It does not define you. It has no bearing on you.
What they think is their business. If they want to think less of you, then let them. But whatever you do… don’t let their misery hold you back from finding your purpose.
And it might be true that you’ll try a bunch of things before something sticks. The path is rarely straight or linear.
It usually meanders quite a bit.
Know that this is part of the process, and it’s OK.
You will learn so much from the journey – and oftentimes the journey is what’s needed to be ready for your purpose when you arrive at it.
So follow the breadcrumbs that life offers up to you.
Follow the joy that sparks inside of you.
Your purpose is not outside of you.
It’s within you… but it’s evolving with you.
It’s growing inside of you as you grow. It’s bubbling up within you as you shake things up by following your joy, following what lights you up.
Your purpose is not ONE thing, one activity, one job.
Your purpose is you showing up each and every day, sharing your unique gifts with the world.
So start small.
Start with what brings you joy, even if it’s in the smallest amount at first.
Start noticing the beliefs and thought patterns come up.
Notice when fear holds you back.
FEEL everything.
And keep going…. keep repeating this process over and over and over again.
This is all you need to do.
Follow the inspiration. FEEL your feelings. And put one foot in front of the other and keep going.
And you will get there.
You are right to feel that you’re meant for more.
That voice is not here to torment you or make you feel bad…. that is the voice of your soul whispering in your ear, steering you toward the magnificent life you’re meant to live.
Listen to it.
Trust yourself.
Follow the breadcrumbs life is offering you.
It’s taking you to your purpose.
