I never wanted nothing to do with MLM's, affiliate marketing, or sales. I had tried in the past and failed. I had watched my mom try, have success, and be set back when other people quit. Plus... I was bad at sales. 

And now, what I do with Enagic is a blend of all of those worlds. 

Life has a funny way of taking you to unexpected places, and in this episode I share my journey of walls up/hands off/wanting nothing to do with this industry to jumping in feeling like it was the best possible step forward.

I want to share with you how I ended up in this business when I wanted nothing to do with anything even remotely close to MLM, affiliate marketing, or sales.

Yet here I am, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Let’s rewind a bit to where I was at a crossroads in my life.

I had spent 2 years creating this really beautiful life homeschooling my kids. We had pretty free-flowing, relaxing days that were mixed with learning, friends, and fun.

And now my marriage was dissolving and I had to make money again. So I looked at my options – and there were only 2 in my mind.

I could get a job, rent a house or apartment, and put my kids back in school.

OR

I could cash in some savings, start traveling (something I had been wanting to do for quite some time), and trust myself enough to figure things out along the way.

Now, I had already lived Option 1.

I had the successful career, made the 6-figure income --- and never saw my kids. Every day was a sprint and my quality of life was SOOOOO low. I remember thinking there had to be more to life that this.

I had no desire to jump back into that life.

So, I chose Option 2.

People tell me that this was a risky move… but for me, betting on myself and the life I wanted to create for me and for my kids was the safest investment I could make.

If I wasn’t willing to invest in creating a future that I wanted, what was the point of even having savings???

I already knew the other option.
I already knew I didn’t want it.
And I knew that I could change my mind at any time and come back and get a job. Worst case scenario, I’d be out some money. That I knew I could make again.

My dream for the future was worth investing in. So I started traveling.

And as I did, I asked every person I met what they did to earn money – how were they making this work?

And along the way, I stumbled upon this business.

My walls went up. There was no way I was doing network marketing or anything salesy. And water machines didn’t seem sexy.

Nope - I wanted to find my purpose, something I was passionate about.

So I continued to ask, I continued to do my inner healing work, I continued to seek work that aligned with my values, AND allowed me to live a life of total freedom – where I could travel, where I could educate my kids in the way I wanted, where I could have those fun-filled, relaxed days that I had when I was homeschooling.

And as I did this, I continued to watch my friend make money in this business while never appearing to “sell” anything.

And that’s when I realized, I could “work” in a way where I could show up as myself, to live a life of total freedom, AND inspire others to do the same.

My “purpose” work isn’t to sell water machines.
My “purpose work” is to help other see that there is another way – a way out – a way to live life exactly how they want – a life of FREEDOM.

So I took the next step – I invested the $49 to look, knowing I could change my mind at anytime (just like when I started traveling). And then I invested in the products and a business, trusting that I could figure it out as I went, just like I did when I started traveling.

Investing in myself and the vision I have for my family has been the BEST and SAFEST bet I could ever made and continue to make.
