Episode 47 - 5 Practical Strategies to Overcome Fear
We've been taught to believe that fear is a signal to stop what we're doing, it's too dangerous to proceed, and to run in the other direction. But fear is NOT this.
Fear is part of the process of moving forward, finding your purpose, and living a truly incredible life.
In this episode, I share 5 strategies I personally use when fear creeps in so I can move through it with relative ease and continuing going after my dreams.
If you want to break free from the 9 to 5 or spend more time with your family, then check out this FREE webinar that goes over exactly what I'm doing to create time and financial freedom.

- Fear likes to stay general, so we need to get specific.
Ask why? Why do you think that? Tell me more. - Turn and face - there’s something there trying to get your attention. Your fear is there to serve you. It’s there to keep you safe. Listen to it. And if it’s not serving you, thank it and tell it to move on.
- What’s everything you can do in advance that would mitigate your worst case scenario? List everything you could do after the fact to mitigate the aftermath of your worst case scenario.
- Go there in your imagination. Face your worst case scenario in your imagination - knowing you are completely safe in the now. Let your fear run wild. Feel all of the emotions that come up. Cry, sob, get angry… let it out.
- Re-frame: Sometimes we get stuck because of the words we’re using. We say things so definitively that there’s no wiggle room to get out of the stuck. But we can shift our thoughts and verbiage around the thing we’re afraid of to look for a bit of relief.
